Terms of Use
Card Scanner OCR · Last updated: October 31, 2026
By downloading or using Card Scanner OCR (the "app") you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails to the extent required.
The app is published by Roman Klymentiev, an individual developer based in Greece (“we”, “us”).
The app
The app recognizes text on business cards and helps you save and export contact details. Recognition is automatic and can be wrong. Review each card before you rely on it or save it.
Your use
Use the app lawfully. You are responsible for the contact details you scan, store and share, including respecting the privacy of the people on the cards.
Subscriptions
- The free plan keeps up to 10 cards. Card Scanner Pro removes that limit.
- Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- A free trial, where offered, is for eligible Apple IDs. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we do not guarantee that recognition is accurate or that the app is error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost contacts or data. Keep exports or backups of contacts that matter to you.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. The current version is always on this page.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please email support@businesscardscannerapp.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. The courts of Greece have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country or U.S. state where you live, and you may bring a claim in the small-claims or other competent court where you live where that law allows.
